Where even was Tsukasa right now?
Rui had been so absorbed in his thoughts that everything just kind of went black for some time.
How long had he been sitting on that couch for?
After forcing his spaced-out eyes to function, he was greeted by his one and only star sitting just a meter from his face. Saying that he was jump scared would be an understatement because he proceeded to jump from fear, resulting in him falling headfirst on the floor behind the couch.
Tsukasa couldn't help but laugh a bit at how easily his friend got startled, but that giggle was cut short when he realized just how Rui had fallen.
or: Rui returns from a disappointing robotics tournament, only to be left home alone, and longing for someone to tell his troubles to. His loneliness ends though once he gets a phone call from a familiar face, that makes him start reevaluating his feelings for that person...

“ What.” Tsukasa was speechless for the first time in his life.
“ How about a deal, human? You come with me, and I won't attack your village! Though, that also means you won't be leaving my castle, considering it's going to be annoying to get you there, so I can't have you leaving whenever you want.” The crazed alchemist sang.
Tsukasa was faced with an impossible choice. Leaving the village meant leaving Saki, but she would be killed by this…. creature if Tsukasa didn't leave.
