Summary
After spending time with Azrael over a few months, Ella invites her on vacation. After the celestial siblings' Mother, the Goddess Asherah, arranges for additional psychopomps to take over in her absence, Azrael joins her three brothers and their families on a trip to the most remote continent, taking advantage of the opportunity to properly spend time with Amenadiel, Lucifer, and Michael for the first time in thousands of years, as she's worked nonstop on their Father's direction since humanity developed souls.
Over vacation, it comes to light that God may still be interfering in their lives despite exiling them to Earth six years prior, and the siblings have to determine how to address this threat as Azrael tries to figure out where she belongs between Heaven and Earth.

Summary
Two months have passed since Ella started to consider reconnecting with Azrael to establish a connection to Heaven for possible contemporary information gathering as a protection for her family. Finally, when Michael is out of the house for a few hours one day, she decides to pray to Azrael, surprised when she shows up and even more surprised when Michael comes home early to find his sister in their living room. It turns out that Azrael and Michael don't have the rosiest history, and Ella suddenly has to smooth out something she didn't even know was a problem so she can obtain her goal of hopefully having advance knowledge if God decides to mess with the lives of his Earthbound sons again.

Four months after Lucifer's most recent depressive episode, Michael suddenly begins to display aberrant, agitated behavior, seemingly pulling away from reality. Lucifer works with Linda to figure out the cause, and once they find it, Amenadiel has to assist with education regarding the issue at hand to hopefully avoid the same problem in the future.

Lucifer has been in remission from bipolar disorder for two years, rolling on a steady dose of lithium. A year after he and Michael repair their soul with Ella's assistance, however, remission comes to a halt, and Michael experiences secondhand a bout of mania followed four months later by a bout of depression, the second one having ramifications on the twins' relationship.

Summary
In 1991, Saint Michael the Archangel was sent by God to learn about humanity from humans themselves within the structure of university. He established an identity as Michael Demiurgos, majored in the dictated fields of biology and anthropology, earned a degree in three years, and returned to Heaven without intending to interact that closely with humanity again.
In 1999, God sent Michael back to Earth with no direct commands, so he simply returned to his alma mater of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore and became a medical student, then an intern, then a resident, then a fellow, and suddenly, it was 2011 and he was a respected cardiothoracic surgeon with a penchant for being absolutely horrible at human emotion. Regardless, he felt accomplished, or something along those lines. Unfortunately, 2011 was also when his twin decided to take a 'vacation' from Hell by tricking their older brother, so Michael was called back to Heaven to assist God.
Then it was 2016, and God had quietly kicked him from Heaven, and he'd just as quietly moved to Los Angeles. A crisis in 2018 slammed him back into Lucifer's life, and an incident in 2019 brought Ella Lopez into his.

Summary
In this AU, inspired by the work Where the Morning Star Fell, Lucifer has mysteriously developed bipolar disorder at some unknown time before a suicide attempt in February 2018. Linda, in her capacity as a psychiatrist; Amenadiel; and Michael, who has been secretly working as a surgeon in Los Angeles for two years after being abruptly dismissed from his Heavenly duties by God, work to settle him and make sense of how an archangel could have seemingly suddenly developed this while multiple stressors bloom around them, threatening Lucifer's stability and what's left of Michael's blind faith in their Father.

Lucifer gathered her close and tried to let the distance between them fade away. Her mortal lifetime, the thousands upon thousands of his years in servitude in Hell, the promise, the abandonment - he kissed her, and tried to push it all aside.
They were together now, happy and in love. That was all that mattered. The sacrifice and suffering had been worth it.
The alternative was unthinkable.
