“We do,” Remus agrees patiently. He has his teacher’s voice on, and James fears he’s being led into some Socratic thought experiment. “It’s just… Don’t you think you might adore him a little too much?”

Thirty seconds pass before Sirius looks over at the other customer, who’s staring at the locked door in shock while he scratches at his ear, an endearingly confused look on his face.
“Did…” he starts.
“Yes,” Sirius interrupts. “Yes, I think he did.”
“And we’re…”
“Yes,” Sirius nods. “Yes, I think we are.”
The guy nods his head for a second before breaking out into a boisterous laugh that Sirius can’t help but join in on.

On a cold winter’s night, Regulus seeks out his brother in the hopes of reconciliation. In his naivety, he falls victim to a cleverly orchestrated trick by Severus Snape, who is seeking revenge on Sirius for a nasty prank he pulled.
Now, Regulus is trapped in the Shrieking Shack with a fully transformed werewolf and no chance of escape.
Fear is an old friend of his and yet he hardly has a chance to truly feel it, not while the overgrown wolf is too busy making a nest to keep Regulus warm and licking away his tears.

Will lifts his eyes from the posters on his wall. He misses Bowie and The Cure during the split second his eyes take the road to Mike’s face. When they arrive at their destination, his heart trembles in his chest.
“I’m sorry,” he starts. Eyes still wide and sad. “Don’t be mad at me anymore, I can’t stand it.”
Maybe Will should feel bad for making his boyfriend go through such an emotional turmoil. But when Mike looks at him like this and uses this voice, he can’t hold himself back from enjoying all it. The concept of guilt be damned.
He has the audacity to push it too.
