Summary
M.M's breath hitch as he gains a glimpse of a brunet figure inside. "Soldier Boy...." He murmurs, less excited and more uncertain. You take a step back, preparing yourself if you need to. The sound of a mask falling onto the floor echoes as the man steps out, pulling any and every form of restriction off his body.
He staggers out, glancing at everyone before his eyes fall on you temporarily. "It's okay," Frenchie tries to reason, making it known that you weren't a threat. Well, the man wasn't exactly sure of what was going on, nor did he recognize any one of you. You only blinked once and the entire mission had gone to shit. A bright, orange light casted out everyone's faces before everything went dark.
The only sound heard in the hallways was the strange man escaping. You hovered over Kimiko's powers with disbelief, Frenchie screaming to the others. "Kimiko! Wake up!"

One mistake on your time machine leads you into a parallel universe you haven't recognized. Waking up in a world so similar to your own, you realized this is nothing that you are used to back home.
If you would have known you'd get into a serious situation such as this, you would have never bothered to work on your Time Machine. One minute you're working on the time machine with Shuri, and the next you're in a different world. A large hole in the sky opens, and you fall through unconsciously.

You’d be a fool to admit to anyone, much less Homelander, that there’d been a singular incident between the two of you, but nothing had happened since– Ben seems to be able to control himself, should he have to. He’s also a good drinking partner, when it comes to the blows of your shared nuisance and godlike headache. And you can’t deny that more than once you’ve hoped he would try something, take advantage of your coked-up state and leave you with some parting gift, but he’s smarter than that. Homelander would only have his head on a stick.
However, this phone call has changed things, so who knows. Maybe a part of him holds a sort of love for you as well.
