Summary
Work sucks, life sucks but having a boyfriend who (for some extremely contrived and honestly nonsensical reasons) loves you, sucks less. Being in a relationship is work and while it's more enjoyable than any job Shane had to suffer through in his life, he wouldn't mind a handbook.
Elliott has read multiple handbooks on the topic, and feels just as lost, so it evens out.
In the first few months of their actual relationship Elliott gets sick, and this little upset might lead to further changes.Full disclosure: This fic was written over the course of two hangovers and a week of being sick. Also the first fic I've written in years, so it might be very cutesy and mildly OOC.

He starts streaming instead of just making videos, trying to find and fill that feeling of closeness and intimacy that has started aching in him… and the more he does it and the more he engages with his community the more the lines blur between what he said he’d never do and what he needs and craves more than anything.
