Cyno tries to keep the giddy smile from taking over—poorly—so it comes off a bit strained, but he won’t let it ruin the punchline of his masterful pickup line.
"Damn, I could've sworn we had chemistry."
Or, Cyno pines after Tighnari and tries to woo him the only way he knows how.

Garreth Weasley had, once again, blown up a cauldron. He didn’t think much of the incident until five minutes later, as he was attempting to salvage his now-ruined notes, he heard something strange.
“Ominis looks good today. Why does he always look good? That bloody collar is unfairly elegant. Who even has cheekbones like that?”or: another potion mishaps leaves Garreth with the ability to read minds. As if that weren't enough, he also finds out that Sebastian and Ominis ... may like each other as more than just friends.

“No,” Kaveh says, thinking. “With my luck, if I did know him already, then he would probably be the worst person I know. Someone like Al-Haitham.” The thought is so absurd that he stops and laughs. “But that would be fucking awful.”
In Kaveh's humble opinion, the title for The Worst Guy In The World is tied between four people: the asshole in his Tuesday eight am, the employee behind the library email account, the guy writing the university's advice column, and the student that the professor he assists always complains about.
It would only be too convenient if they were all the same person. (They are.)
