Summary
When Shane Hollander has a breakthrough heat during the medal ceremony at the Sochi Olympics, the MLH doesn't hesitate to drop him. If he wants to keep playing hockey the way he likes, his only option is to join a much more dangerous league that boasts the ultimate spectacle: no penalties, no disqualifications.
To make matters worse, he meets some Russian prodigy rookie who won't stop trying to get close to him. And also Shane thinks management might actively be trying to get him killed on the ice.

Summary
“I could be your three out of three.”
When Shane blinks at him, Rozanov pushes his hair back, curls bouncing back wetly.
“I am an alpha, yes? And I am single. Sometimes, I am asshole. This I admit. Charming asshole, but still asshole. But I would–for you, I would be nice.”
Shane Hollander has a plan for his first natural heat in five years: Hayden’s couch, strict boundaries, and absolutely no complications.
The plan did not account for Ilya Rozanov.

Summary
Scent patches were mandatory for anyone participating in World Junior's, but a lot of the Russian guys Shane saw in the hotel or around the rink had them loosely attached to their necks or not quite centered over their scent gland. Shane had been on his way to his parents' car when the wind shifted, and he smelled that Rozanov, leaning against the wall and not-at-all-surreptitiously fishing a carton of cigarettes out of his pocket, must have been one of them.

Summary
Randy blinks owlishly. The image stays the same.
Long, white beard. A red hat with a little ball at the end, a rounded gut wrapped in a matching red velvet coat. He looks wrong out here, a bright stab of color on a drab background, like blood against the slushy, gray snow.
And then Santa tucks his beard under his chin and lights a cigarette.
(OR: Randy gets a job at the mall during the holidays.)
