Music is a niche industry where only the strongest survive, beautiful in its practice but corrupt in the invisible things, the things that matter. It is of no wonder that the industry in Tokyo was doomed to face repercussions, but nobody probably expected that artists of all kinds were to drop dead one by one in the span of several weeks.
Suguru Geto has developed a purpose, a performance of his own, if you will -- to cleanse and rid the music scene in Japan from the poison that threatens to overtake it. It is that precisely that drives him towards Satoru Gojo, a lonesome virtuoso born within the profession, who just so happens to be completely undeterred by the prospect of becoming the newest target to the mysterious murderer. It is in this way, their duet writes itself.

I LOVE THIS FIC SM!!! Like genuinely I just binged it (even tho I had it marked for later for a long time heh) and it's so so good I think I'm gonna explode lol. I don't know like anything about classical music, exception is the few things we learned in school but those were mostly focused on artists/composers from our country and the very basics. Basically I don't know anything, so it's been really interesting reading and learning and listening to these pieces and the composers. So thank you for sharing your knowledge!!!
Also I love everything you are doing with the characters! I love how Suguru is kind of an unreliable narrator (not only about the past) and how he perceives the world, people but mostly how he perceives kenjaku and satoru. (Bcs I feel like satoru knows more than he's letting on, I don't think he's clueless lol and yk kenjakus whole thing) (Also I think suguru had a bad headache last chapter? I think it's because he hasn't been taking the pills and the headache is a withdrawal symptom but that's just a theory lol.)
Also I am so excited about sukuna being a part of this! He's such an asshole, I love him but what is his issue lmao. Love how he's becoming an antagonist to both Suguru (bcs he's a detective lol) and Satoru (bcs he's apparently an asshole or maybe more oh I am so excited either way help). Love and love every shoko and satoru interaction like they are so dear to me. Shoko letting satoru go with Suguru in the early chapters is so devastating. She cares so much about him and wants him to be safe, so her sending him off with the guy that (at that point) plans to kill him is so tragic. (If she ever realises this I fear no cigarette will be safe from her) ALSO sukuna and shoko dynamic is so good they kinda feel like they are two forces forces tugging satoru in the opposite direction, I don't know if that makes sense lol.
I don't know what is kenjakus issue, what I do know is that he has several of them lol. Like he HAS to know who satoru is and perhaps he's trying to make Suguru kill him because he wants Suguru fully under his control? No clue but, again, so excited to know more lol. (I am so getting the Hannibal NBC vibes from this, we love medical malpractice yay) I have also cried multiple times during this fic (that satoru journal chapter WRECKED ME, I was reading it and tears were just flowing down my face. They buried him:( he was so excited to be back, instead he found out they buried him:() I do fear that hell is not hot enough for satorus family.
So yeah I don't know if this comment even makes any sense, I am just not capable of portraying how much joy this fic brought me!!! Just thank you for writing this!!:D

Cried a lot when there was the scene with Yuki and her grandmother-
“Okay,” he sighs, holding onto her pillow as he stretches, looking more awake than ever. Yuki follows him with her eyes as he gets up from the bed with languid movements, looking back at her directly, but not challenging. A pause follows. “I know I’m a compatible vessel.”
