Alfred finds himself left with a little boy to care for. Not just any boy, but a Wayne, destined for greatness like his parents. He does his best to raise him, and it hurts his heart - really it does - but sometimes that means discipline.
Bruce knows he’s not good. Well aware that he deserved what Alfred gave him when he was a child. But now that he has children of his own, Bruce can’t fathom disciplining them like he was.That doesn’t mean Alfred was wrong to inflict those punishments on Bruce. Bruce deserved it. Just not his kids.

Summary
Fanfic of another fanfic, heavily inspired by "Operation: I am Human" by StandingBi.
The Justice League believes Batman is a cryptid due to his tendency to use bird calls, hisses and grunts rather than words, odd mannerisms and other pieces of evidence that don't help Bruce's case. He struggles to clear the misunderstanding and continues making poor social decisions, which only fuels the fire.
Chap 1: Hal gets the crazy idea to flash a laser pointing during a Justice League meeting. Bruce believes a sniper has somehow broken into headquarters, and chases after the laser. Everyone gravely misinterprets the situation, believing it to be some sort of instinctual urge. It spirals into something comedic, and entirely avoidable.
+ Various instances of the JL charting Bruce’s poor social skills to an animalistic instinct.

What is Time?
It’s a prominent question that continues to breach in his mind like a parasite. He heard Mori mention it once, but he’s never figured out what the word means.
Someone had brought him to this room just now. Why? To train, of course! He’s Mori’s Doll- a perfect toy.
His head hurts. What is pain? He shouldn’t be feeling it. Dolls don’t feel pain with their porcelain skin and wooden eyes.
Someone tells him to shut off. Automatically, like a button being pressed, his head hangs down like a tree.
He does the only thing he can do- shut off.
Or- brainwashed/doll Dazai! This is an idea that I had a concept for, and so I decided to make a full fic on it!!!
