“Let me guess,” a voice says from behind him. Seokjin turns from watching Hoseok join whatever Jimin, Taehyung, and Jeongguk may be doing in their conspicuous huddle over to see Yoongi stepping in place next to him. “Your fourth?” His head nods to Seokjin’s glass.
Seokjin, with the grace of the gentleman he is, snorts. “Who do you take me for? Jimin?” He looks back to where Hoseok and the others are now migrating over to a Namjoon who doesn’t know what’s coming. “My second.”
“Hm.” And without a word, Yoongi scoops the drink out of Seokjin’s hand, downing the rest in one go.

“Can I sleep in your bed tonight, hyung?”
It’s a nice thought—Jungkook’s warm body curved around his back, an arm slung over his waist. He’d scent him for sure, nose buried against his neck, right against his scent gland.
But he hesitates, the pile of shirts under his comforter flashing across his eyes. As a fellow beta, Hoseok isn’t as sensitive to the pheromones ruminating in his bed. Jungkook, though, would sniff it out in seconds like a baby alpha bloodhound.
“Not tonight, Jungkook-ah.”

Natural packs are made out of alphas, betas, and omegas. And if they’re not, nature has a way of correcting the balance. Luckily, Jimin has never felt much like a beta anyway.
