    Enid gasps, betrayed. “Thing!”

     

    “Let it go,” slurs Wednesday, latching onto Enid’s sleeve before she can chase after the disembodied traitor of a hand. “Thing has a dozen or so hiding spots in the school and as much as I enjoy your complexion darkened with righteous indignation, there are better things you can be using your time for, mi sombra.”
