Summary
It wasn't a big deal, really; Sokka knew lots of queer people. Suki had a girlfriend now, he thought with a bit of pain, and that didn't bother him other than the sting of the breakup itself. He knew that Toph had girlfriends and boyfriends, and Aang had told him that the Air Nomads of the past never thought to put a label on anything, letting monks love whom they wanted to without judgment.
So why did the idea of Zuko liking a guy make his stomach churn uneasily? Why did his chest clench at the thought of him being with a man?

Sokka doesn't know why he feels weird about Zuko coming out. Stupidly, he mistakes his jealousy for homophobia.

“You think sweet words and charm can cover up your lies,” Saranghae snaps, sharp like a knife. “But pretense has a weight. Disrespect has consequences. You will learn that soon enough.”
The Priestess lifts her hand slightly, pointing it towards Lance’s chest.
“Consider this a lesson,” she declares, voice deep and final. “Until you stop lying to your own heart, Blue Paladin, misfortune will follow you… and happiness will elude you.”

Everything starts as it always does: with a diplomatic mission on a strange planet.
Lance is loving Hebeyl: c'mon, which sentiment would be more appropriate? It's literally known as "The Planet of Love"! No Galra attacks, no weird sacrificial rituals, no hostile locals... This is the dream.
... Apart from a tiny, little, completely unfair detail: somehow, Lance ends up cursed by a Priestess. And the kicker? No one, not even Hebeyl's King, knows what the curse will actually do to him.
But when accidents and misfortunes start piling up, impacting not only Lance but the whole team, everything slowly clicks: this goddamn curse... might have something to do with one dumb mullet boy, who's been tormenting his thoughts for months. Great.

Lance’s smile widens. He leans forward, and the prickling in Keith’s chest gives way to butterflies, fluttering wildly in his stomach, and oh wow has Lance always had this many freckles, has he always had eyelashes that long, has he—
Lance pokes his cheek, right over the Galra mark. Keith blinks.
“I can’t believe you and your mom have matching face tattoos now,” he says, and it’s so fucking dumb, but it’s exactly the kind of dumb thing Keith has longed to hear, and before he knows what he’s doing he’s surging forward, almost knocking Lance back against Red’s paw, and throwing his arms around him.
In which Keith lives on a space whale, goes on a road trip, and (eventually) gets a boyfriend.

Summary
Zuko is courting Katara, and with every passing day finds new and insane ways of showing that he would quite literally move the spirit world and earth to make her happy.
In hindsight, it probably would've been better if Sokka had realised he was in love with Zuko at literally any time before this. Or preferably, never fallen for his best friend in the first place.
