The declaration was so blunt that Hanbin couldn’t help being flustered. Jaehyun with his self-satisfied smile, the bright twinkle of his eyes that was unable to be masked by the blue light of his computer screen or his darkening eyebags. He said it with ease, like it was only natural that Hanbin would be there next to him, and Hanbin couldn’t deny it at all. The blatant possessiveness rendered him immobile, warmth curling low in his gut as he repeated the words over and over again. He raised his hands in an attempt to hide his flushed cheeks. It seemed futile– Jaehyun’s grin widened.
“Rejected.” Hanbin retaliated weakly, “I don’t want it.”
