“Kor, what are you doing?”
Korra whirled around and found Asami frowning at her. Tired green eyes were squinting at her and the small crinkle between perfectly sculpted brows that she loved was on full display.
“I-I’m going to -”
“That couch was 7000 yuans, Korra. I just got it last week. You are not...it doesn't even...it’s too fancy and...pink. You just - you can’t sleep on it. You’re gonna have to sleep with me because you’re certainly not sleeping on the floor.”
Her mouth hung open. She looked from the couch to Asami and back again. 7000 yuans?!?! The cushion in her hands suddenly felt like it weighed a hundred pounds and she gently put it back in it’s proper place hoping she hadn’t inadvertently popped a seam. Once the pillows she had carelessly tossed on the floor were in place she turned her attention back to the taller woman.
“Asami, seven thou-”
“I get to be as eccentric as I want to be. I’m a Sato. Now, come on.” She said with a smirk, her hand outstretched, reaching for Korra as she wiggled her fingers.
