Death steps forward, her breath ghosting across Agatha’s cheeks, cold as the grave. “You like to keep me on my toes,” She says, more a whisper than anything and Agatha bites back the urge to kiss her, to kiss this woman before her, desolation incarnate, chokes down the need to know what her lips feel like pressed against Agatha's, the taste of Death on her tongue - copper and petrichor and sweet rot.
“I like to keep you entertained.” Agatha says, hands twitching at her sides. She wants to touch and touch and touch - wants in a way she has rarely felt before, with such splendent intensity that all thoughts are struck from her mind.
There is a hand on her cheek, long fingers curling around the corner of her jaw, the pressure insistent, hard enough to leave marks in the shape of fingerprints; Agatha gasps, a needy breath punched from her lungs as Death speaks, mouth brushing against her ear, all teeth and tongue, “You could never bore me.”

Summary
The divorce wasn’t a surprise, by then, anyone with eyes could see where Agatha and Rio’s marriage would end — in court. They split amicably, with an alternating week custody for Nicky and a heartfelt post on Instagram, saying that despite everything, they would always love and be there for each other. That there wasn’t any resentment, they simply saw themselves as friends now. That a love so strong could never fade. Rio commented a heart under Agatha’s post. She could almost laugh — what a fucking load of bullshit. Agatha didn’t care though; all she wanted was to finish her movie and never see Rio’s face ever again.
There was just one problem: Crimson was already announced and picked up for filming in the next few months. And Rio was already casted as the protagonist.
So yeah, don’t fucking shit where you eat.

Vidal grins. Her pointed teeth catch the moonlight. “Oh, please,” she says, brushing a bit of dirt from the name carved into the gravestone. “I wouldn’t be caught dead dying in this town. I’m just checking up on one of the locals.”

“No.” Agatha’s eyes meet hers, something deadly coiled within her gaze. “With your mouth.”
Rio’s breath shivers out of her, her heart skipping a beat in her chest. “W-what?”
“You heard me.” Agatha tilts her head, eyes never leaving Rio’s. “Or has it been so long that you’ve forgotten how to follow orders?”
Swallowing, Rio shakes her head. But she doesn’t understand. Why would Agatha want that? After a century of silence, after making her hatred clear, why would Agatha want Rio’s mouth on her?

Rio flashes her bloody teeth at Agatha. She slowly looks down the length of Agatha, face caked with dirt, sweat on her neck, mud on her shirt. Her chest is heaving under Rio’s grip, rising and falling. Rio looks back up at Agatha’s face.
“Yeah, baby,” she says in a low voice, “I want a body.”
Agatha scoffs as much as one can scoff when they are pinned to the ground by a spurned lover. Or a lover they spurned. Rio can’t keep track anymore.

“Who the hell are you?” Agatha said, her smile still firmly plastered on her face. It was the smile of a hunter toying with her pray. Agatha's canines glinted dangerously in the torch light and Rio felt a flutter in her stomach at the thought of them biting into her flesh.
“Do you really want to know?” asked Rio in dulcet tones, as she made her way towards Agatha. She didn’t stop until she was a few small steps away from the witch so that the only thing separating them was the magic barrier. She bent her body towards Agatha’s inviting her to lean forward like she was about to reveal a secret to her. The witch couldn’t resist her call, her body moving on autopilot almost like there was a magnetic pull between them and maybe there was.
