<3 I found out recently that authors can read this if you bookmark it publicly. I usually keep my bookmarks private, and comment instead of writing a note in this part but I've recently discovered I might have AuDHD and have been considering getting assessed. it feels a bit overwhelming to be honest, I'm almost 30. But reading this beautiful work made me feel so seen - the continual fear of being consistently misunderstood and never truly being seen. The hope that one day I'll find people who fully understand that part of me and make the effort to ensure I feel that love. I am not alone, but I do feel lonely. I feel tired of consistently having to fight to be understood, to be seen. To find even the smallest comfort from overstimulation. This beautiful work gave me hope - hope I'll one day find someone who will love me enough to see the real me and help make a corner of the world safer for me to just be. So much love to this author for that <3
