Summary
When Louis Tomlinson is admitted to Edenlock Psychiatric Hospital, the last person he expects to find on the other side of its locked doors is the man who broke him so completely that walking away became the only way he knew to survive.
Louis has spent seven years trying to forget. They haven't seen each other since. Now, trapped on the same psychiatric ward with nowhere to hide and years of unfinished history between them, old wounds begin to reopen- and so do feelings neither of them managed to bury quite as deeply as they thought.
One of them is beginning to realise that loving someone and knowing how to love them are two very different things. The other is beginning to wonder whether moving on has to mean never looking back. Neither of them is prepared for what happens when they start falling in love again.

“Of course, I'm sure. I said so, didn't I?” Louis confirmed, holding Harry's gaze and nodding intently. “I'm sure, Haz. I promise.”
“Okay, but…” Harry swallowed and a frown formed between his brows. “I need you to promise me something else…”
Louis looked a bit puzzled, a bit tense, but nodded slightly, “Of course, H. What is it?”
“You need to promise me to never fall in love with me.” Harry said nervously, fiddling with his rings.

Harry picks up the beer can Louis had put down and places it out of reach from Louis, “I can hear your accent and I know its ok in UK but here-”
“Are you–”
“21 is the legal age.”
“I’m 23!”
Harry snaps his mouth shut, looks at Louis up and down and then says, “No.”
OR
Louis' sister sent him to buy wine from her best friend's store on the coldest day of Minnesota winters. What could possibly go wrong?
Except Louis hates the cold, and the store is closed.
