The sunset that glows down on the two boys gives just enough light for everything to be seen within their range of sight.
Karl knows Sapnap has seen him like this. He knows there's disappointment laced between the quiet of their voices and the dim colors of the sky.

Dream and George go on fake honeymoons, indulging each other in everything they miss about relationships. Then things change when Dream actually gets a girlfriend.

"Let's not do this stuff as a prank anymore, like, for the rest of our vacation. If we want to dance in our hotel room, we do it. If we… want to stop building a pillow barricade between us in bed, we do that. Or, if we want to make use of that bath before the water gets cold… then we don't need to make it be part of some stupid prank. It's just us, you know? It doesn't have to be weird, or be a thing, or keep happening once we go home. Let's just… treat this vacation like a real honeymoon and give all our pent up romantic feelings with no place to go… a place to go- here." George shrugged, a nervous laugh slipping from his lips.
"Pent up romantic feelings with no place to go." Dream echoed in a mumble, his mind finding comfort in the words.
"What does- ha." Dream let out an airy laugh. "If we do what you're suggesting, what's that mean? What's on the table now- 'dating activity' wise?" Dream asked, a smile ghosting his lips when George's head went slack against his palm, like he was melting from their close proximity.

The red and pink fear dousing George’s body before had increased tenfold, hands instantly moving to take off the piece of fabric as something he couldn’t place pooled in the back of his mind.
Or, Dream is visiting and gets snowed in with George, and it takes a hoodie, a breakdown, and a lot of jealousy for them to get their act together.

“It does!” Dream chuckled proudly, smile stretching even further when George grabbed the card back from his lap, securing it safely in his backpack. He’s keeping the card.
“Whatever,” George rolled his eyes, still smiling his lovesick smile. “Happy Valentine’s, Dream,” he spoke sarcastically, almost whimsically. And Dream watched him as he walked away, holding onto his words and the security of his zipped up backpack compartment.
or, Dream and George had known each other since they were four, but neither of them planned to become national tennis superstars in high school. The pressure gets worse when they find out that they might have been in love this whole time.
