Summary
There are moments in his life that feel like turning points, hairline fractures, decisions that at the time feel so small they're almost invisible. Moments he can trace with his fingertips, feel the fault lines and see exactly where everything split and set wrong. Moments that have made him the man he is today.
It's a shame that he always recognises them in retrospect.
Dennis has his safe little fantasies, but has never acted on them until now. Robby knows he isn't the right person to guide Whitaker, but he knows himself well enough to know he will anyway.
