Tubbo and Tommy sprinted off into the white forest.
They didn’t stop playing until it went dark.
“Tommy…” Tubbo swiveled around nervously. “How do we get back?”
“I…don’t know.” Tommy smacked his flashlight as the beam flickered.
“What do we do?” Tubbo cried, latching onto his taller friend.
“Well dad always told me when I get lost I need to stay put.” Tommy replied. The beam from his flashlight shut off. “It’s ok, Tubbo. We’ll be fine.”
“I don’t like the dark.” Tubbo sniffled, burying his face in Tommy’s chest. “‘M cold.”
“Here, Tubbo.” Tommy unzipped his jacket and put it around Tubbo. “Let’s go sit by a tree, yeah?”
Tommy led Tubbo over to a tree where they sat on the ground, Tubbo on Tommy’s lap.
The pair shivered, Tommy running his fingers through Tubbo’s hair as he cried.
It didn’t matter that Tommy was younger than Tubbo, he would protect Tubbo with his life if need be.
