Alicent sighs. “I do not know. We were friends many years ago.”
At least, Alicent likes to think they were friends. But the princess was always sporadic with her attentions— quick to grow bored of things, discarding the old in favor of the new. Alicent supposes that’s what happened to her, as well. She had written letters, those first few moons after she returned to Oldtown.
The princess never responded.
The king is seeking a husband for his omega daughter, so countless lords send their sons to vie for the hand of the future queen.
Alicent is not a son. She is not a knight. Her presentation was surely a mistake, one that’s cost her everything. Now she is her brother’s squire, accompanying him to King’s Landing as he competes for the princess's hand.

I know I'm extremely late to the game, but I have recently discovered this ship, and I love it. There are some brilliant fics out there that have inspired me. I have the first 7 chapters written (I think) so let me know if you like it and I'll get the updates regularly.
Okay, so this story take place in the early glee universe, with the original Gleeks only. There is no specific time period, and not much that happens in the show will be incorporated. Stuff that has happened prior to this story are as follows:- Rachel has dated Finn, Jesse and messed around with Puck. Quinn had Beth and is dating Sam at the start of the story. Brittany is with Artie at the start of the story...
Quinn realises that maybe her feelings for Rachel Berry aren't actually born out of hatred...

Raffi straightened up when she got to the closed door of the conference room. She wasn’t entirely sure what to expect, but she wanted to go into it with her most professional foot forward.
She pressed the button to open the door and as soon as she got a view of the inside, her professional front dropped and she stepped in, closing the door behind her. Seven was sitting at the conference table with stacks of PADDs all around her and an annoyed look on her face. “What happened?”
Seven stood up when she realized Raffi had materialized inside of the room and then softened a bit when she realized they were alone and the door was closed. Her harried look faded and she let out a relieved smile. “You accepted.”
Raffi didn’t want to tell Seven that she’d follow her anywhere, but she figured Seven already knew or she wouldn’t have offered the position in the first place. “Of course.”

Summary
With the new L Corp space station needing to be tested Lena decides to leave her company in Sam’s capable hands so she can spend a year doing it. And more importantly enjoy a year not worrying about people trying to kill her. Two birds, one stone really.
There’s just one small problem with her plan; it means she’s spending the whole year alone, on a space station, with her every move recorded and shared live to the world by a poorly programmed droid.
Watch Lena struggle to maintain her cold Luthor reputation while she yells profanities at a goat, lavishes affection on a cat, goes through what she insists on calling a “grunge” phase, keeps accidentally letting slip how sex starved she is, and desperately tries not to let on how madly in love with her best friend and only visitor she is.
TW:
Threats of violence towards a goat. Nothing bad happens to the goat despite Lena’s many murderous urges. She just REALLY hates it.- Language:

When Kara and Lena left on their weekend trip to Vegas the plan was to spend a few days having fun and posting pictures for Catco Travel to keep Andrea off Kara's back. The plan most definitely didn't include getting drunk and getting married. It also didn't include consumating said marriage and waking up the next morning with their memories intact... mostly.
So what are two best friends to do but get a quick divorce and pretend they didn't have sex or actually mean it when they said they loved each other. Finding out they can't get a quick divorce because of some poor wording in a clause of the Alien Amnesty Act really doesn't help with this new plan.
