Golden eyes that were so much like Cor Lapis.
And if he were to get a closer look, there has no doubt there would be a white ring in the middle as well.Venti can’t help but click his tongue. Now he understands what the winds wanted to show him so badly. Why it all felt so familiar.

Summary
“As of late, your little green friend has blessed our forests with his presence.” Mountain Shaper comments as they sit underneath a cluster of autumn leaves in Mt. Hulao. His feathers hardly ruffled from their untimely encounter with a few hilichurls a few moments ago. Time hasn’t changed that about him, Mountain Shaper remains a figure as unreachable as the rocks of his craft.
“Green…” Zhongli thinks for a moment, slowly probing through his rich collage of memories.
Ah.
“Barbatos.” The word rolls off his tongue too easily despite the other archon's previous 500 year absence. Zhongli ought to feel embarrassed by that. Instead, he lets memories accompanied by the feeling of nostalgia wash over him like a refreshing bath. The three syllables bring memories of lantern lit nights, feather covered statues, and crowns of flowers, the sweet song of laughter always near.
TLDR: Venti visits Liyue, and Zhongli goes out to find him while reminiscing like hell

He doesn't expect a little boy, smiling up at him as though he'd never done wrong, dragging him back into a relationship he'd thought long eroded
~~~~~~~~~“Thank you sir.” The boy said seriously. It was almost amusing to see such an expression on his face. His eye was round, and his small face carried baby fat. The little frown he pulled did not look too serious at all, more like a pout.
Well, he was certainly like Venti in that respect. The Anemo Archon hardly ever came across as anything less than friendly, even when wielding his weapon.
