17 years old Sam Winchester is recovering from a bout of bad flu and is looking ahead to a two week school break. And as much as he would like to use that break to finish a school paper, what does he end up doing with it?
Go on a solo hunt with the greatest hunter on the planet that he knows- Not Dean, yet. John Winchester. Just to prove a point. And save some lives. Because that's all that matters to the Winchester family.
With no big brother at his side (until its too late obviously), and no time to do the job he was an expert at (research), he and his dad head up a mountain which was hiding a sinister secret in the darkness of the night and end up facing an evil that will stop at nothing until they are in the ground. Bloody. Again, did he mention the complete lack of a big brother in all of this?
