The child has a scowl fitted on his mouth. Zeno will soon learn that that is where it lives. This does nothing to detract from the hair, which is red like the daybreak or red like wildfire or red like Zeno is on the inside. Heaven may not intend to be cruel, yet here stands Hiryuu in his third reincarnation. It has only taken another two thousand years.

What: Duke Thomas is on summer vacation. For reasons unfathomable, he finds himself in sunny Los Angeles in the company of an almost-relative, Bette, and her infamously green roommate. As for the flying kid in blue—he must be as in on the joke as the rest of them.
Where: The Signal is Gotham’s daylight protector and an Outsider and a dutiful son and everything is alright all the time. Flamebird has her costume on a hanger in the back of her closet, which she turns her head from when she readies for class. Beast Boy capes in a city that doesn’t quite care whether he lives, dies, or stars in his nineteenth commercial. Captain Marvel Jr. visits nearly too much, even though no other place makes Fawcett City more of a faraway dreamland.

Now that the dust has settled, Kaiman is content with working at the Hungry Bug. But what was it that he was searching for before? And how long ago did his search first start? While he's realizing the answer, Hole has gotten a lot busier. Dokuga and Tetsujo are working at the Hungry Bug too. Asu and Risu's visit turns into a prolonged stay. Kasukabe is back. Kaiman now has to juggle four lifetimes worth of relationships.
