Summary
Every time he removed another piece of plate, Hans made a noise altogether obscene. Henry became a little less careful. Perhaps a strap was tightened first, accidentally, so that he’d hear Hans’ breath catch, just a bit. And when he knelt to unhook the embossed cuisses, it was necessary to let Hans rest his foot on his thigh, so that Henry could wrap his hand around the long slope of his calf and feel the muscle clamp down and then release.
Five times Henry helped Hans to put on, or remove, his armor. And one time Hans returned the favor.
