Xisuma was tired. So tired. The type of exhaustion that drove deep into your bones weighing you down. The code in front of him blurred together in a way that he couldn’t make out any words. He didn’t remember the last time he’d had something to eat and he had been hauled up in his office for days. A bug had gotten onto the server through one of the hermits that had been off world for mcc. The bug was duplicating and fast. It was glitching textures, making entities disappear, freezing water and causing lava to levitate. Pearl had messaged him about her sheep farm, sheep disappearing at an alarming rate, Mumbo’s red stone not working because the signal kept freezing up and Some of the blocks hermits would place would disappear causing many casualties while end busting . It was havoc.

After having destroyed the malevolent rabbit corpse below the pizzaplex and freeing Vanny from its control, Gregory realizes that he doesn't want to go back to living on his own. He begs Freddy to let him stay, and the bear agrees.
Of course, Fazbear Entertainment isn't going to let him stay so easily.
Repair the animatronics or never see Freddy again. The choice is a simple one. Gregory just prays that he can do it without getting killed.

In the dim lantern light, Phil could see the contents of the bucket now. It was purple and nearly iridescent. Phil’s stomach dropped. “Ranboo?” He said, ducking his head down to get a look at the kid’s face. The same purple liquid dripped from his mouth. Tears burned streaks down his cheeks. “Ranboo, is this blood?”
He almost didn’t want to know the answer. He knew Ranboo was half enderman, and that his blood wasn’t red like human’s blood. After doomsday when he’d found Ranboo in the rubble, the kid had a few cuts and scrapes, nothing major, but he had noted that his blood was a dark purple color. He hadn’t dwelled on it much. Now, it mattered.
“Ranboo,” Phil said, more firmly now. “Is this blood? Are you throwing up blood?”

They hadn’t stopped being tired, really, it just clung to them, stuck heavy under their eyes and in the bottom of his ribs, weighing him down, dragging him away from the things he used to love to do and into the realm of exhausted apathy. He wanted to care about this assignment, wanted to do it to the best of his abilities, really, but they were so tired, it felt like working would be impossible.
Or, Tubbo stays up late to do homework. Phil helps him.

Tubbo was sick. He knew that. Everyone and everything reminded him on an almost daily basis. The bed with sidearms reminded him, the walking cane in the corner reminded him, the IV drip beside his bed reminded him, the look his dad gave him every time he fell into a coughing fit reminded him, the world reminded him. And sure he knew he was living on the edge of death, and sure he knew everyone was just trying to look after him but the more times he saw someone’s face contort with pity the more he felt like screaming. That’s why when night fell and he could be sure no one was watching, he slid out of bed, picked up his cane and snuck out into the garden…
Tubbo spends time in the garden and makes a new friend.

And pulling a fiver out of his wallet, Techno decided this was not a fight he wanted to wage at 8 am.
“Actually, I’ll have a hot chocolate. Just one. You can, uh, keep the change.” He slid the bill into the blond kid's hand, watching as the little fakers’ eyes cleared of tears after a few seconds before he beamed up at Techno, smugness shining in his eyes instead of tears. The older kid handed him a cup of hot chocolate. At least his hands were warm now. The brunette had the gall to smile at him before chirping;
“Have a nice day! And come again!”

Or Wilbur and Tommy set up a hot chocolate stand outside Phil and Techno's apartment building. It takes a week, two fevers and a blizzard for Techno to admit he's gotten attached.Series

“We thought that we’d give it what it deserved before we brought it back to base camp,” another hunter said, pushing aside the other one, he saluted to Phil and nodded, “it stole food from one of the merchants here and broke a few barrels when it was running. We thought that it deserved some sort of punishment.”
