“Fuck,” Tooru says, his voice stuttering right over the Spanish back to Japanese, and then completely on instinct, he slams the door shut on Tobio’s face.

And Satoru knows, logically, that the kid bears even less similarity to Toji than Satoru does. Logically, he knows that blood bears no destiny, that Megumi bears no responsibility for the things that his father did or didn’t do, the consequences he did or didn’t create.
But what good does logic do? The problem being dead doesn’t mean it’s dead at all, just different.

Megumi Fushiguro is 20 years old. He's worked as a solo jujutsu sorcerer for the two years following graduation, and for all intents and purposes, he does a good job - even at the expense of his safety. The one thing he does not do is go back to Jujutsu High. Jujutsu High brings back memories of a man with pure white hair and a whole lot of unresolved issues that Megumi refuses to address.
Until Yuji and Nobara manage to drag him back.
OR, Megumi and Gojo parted ways on a sour note, but Megumi can't run forever.

Big, brown, worried eyes with pupils blown wide beneath a furrowed brow. Itadori’s hand is on his face, and he’s looking down at Megumi, and he looks worried.
What’s he so worried about?
Another rush of flushed heat pours through his torso, his abdomen feeling as though it’s being shredded from the inside out, and Megumi involuntarily squeezes his eyes shut, cut off from staring back up at those familiar, soft, pretty brown eyes.
Why is Itadori so concerned? He looks better when he’s happy. Unburdened.

It’s pretty obvious that Obanai is not a people’s person.
Just one bad first impression is enough for him to immediately dislike someone and it’s pretty hard to change his feelings on something like that. He will be humble enough to admit however that it’s mostly his fault and rarely theirs. He’ll admit, if only to himself, that he’s the one who's hard to deal with. His personality has always been cold and harsh and he’s not above running his mouth against someone he thinks deserves it.
However, there are a select few he can endure being with.
Obanai’s…adopted family is a given. Mitsuri isn’t too much of a shocker either. What did surprise him was who else he'd find himself pleasantly enjoying the company of.
Shinazugawa Sanemi.
Not that he’d ever admit that to anyone. Including the wind breather himself.
Or
5 times Sanemi and Obanai deny their affection for each other from everyone, including themselves, and the one time they don't (Sorta).
