His eyelashes fluttered faintly, a sudden nervousness creeping across his face—an expression the commander had never before seen directed at him. “I… I didn’t think you would do this here, now, if at all. I had perhaps a small idea of your affections after Scarif, but I didn’t believe you would be so bold. Though, with both of us grievously injured, I suppose you thought you had no choice but to be bold…”
Then the Jedi traitor looked at the commander with what could only be described as devastatingly sincere heart-eyes as the tension melted from his jaw, replaced by a relaxed, almost dreamy look. “Oh, Cody… I love you, too…”
Cody blinked once, then twice, then uttered a strangled, “Huh—ghhnnghh…?”

After the Festival of Light on Naboo passes peacefully, Quinlan Vos arrives on the Negotiator with news that Obi-Wan Kenobi is not dead after all, but instead has gone rogue while deep undercover. It's up to Cody, Vos, Skywalker and a select group of clones to go after him and bring him home, no matter the cost.
If they can't get him out before he manages to reach the elusive Sith Master, Obi-Wan Kenobi dying will be the least of their worries. And for Cody, that is unacceptable.

The bartender looked down at him with a frown, his brows furrowing as he took in Obi-Wan's thin frame. “How old are you, kid?”
Obi-Wan shifted uneasily, suddenly aware of the attention he was drawing from the patrons around him. “It’s not for me,” he replied quickly, his voice steady despite the tremor in his fingers. “I’m just fetching it for my Master.”
