Summary

Summary
This is the story we should have been given. It picks up from the beginning of Act 2 and Follows V and Goro as they struggle to save themselves from the machinations of Arasaka. Misty, Vik, Johnny and others will play important roles across the story, and have been expanded upon as such. This fic will follow the main storyline of the game to a point, but will slowly diverge from it bit by bit. Gradually, a new story will emerge. A story of found family, love, and the ghosts of who we are. I have rejected every cannon ending of Cyberpunk 2077 in favor of my own. I hope you choose my ending too, when we eventually get there anyway.

Summary
After six months, it’s become more than apparent that nobody and nothing remains in NC for V.
But there's a second where V thinks that maybe, just maybe, the Takemura of 2079 resembles the person who was sort of her friend once, and not the person that Arasaka made him.
That second is enough to make her decide to call him back. It’s not like she has much else to lose.

Summary

Two broken stars in a decaying orbit, passing closer and closer together until the inevitable, devastating collision.
Or, Tav is fucked up and down bad for Astarion, who doesn't quite see the appeal (but he's getting there). Sexual frustration, sloppy handjobs, a heavy dose of masochism, and way too many failed Insight checks ahead. Tav falls first, Astarion falls harder (eventually).
Or, a tragic-but-hopeful romance told through a series of incredibly ill-advised sexual encounters.
If you want to read a story where Astarion is sweet from the start and Tav is here to fix him, this isn't the one. If you want to read about two terribly broken men spending a good long while making each other worse before they make each other better, this might be for you. If you thought the in-game romance was a little too easy and it should have been ten times more painful and difficult to convince Astarion he's worthy of love, this is definitely for you.
Set during the canonical events of Baldur's Gate 3.
