It had been long enough for the terrifyingly strong ice demon to vanish into a portal. It had been long enough for him to wrench himself under control, a single shuddering breath at a time. It had been long enough for Meng Mo to help him temporarily re-seal the sigil on his forehead that would betray his demonic heritage. It had, worst of all, been long enough for Shizun's body to begin to chill, even as it was held in Binghe's arms.

Summary
Luo Binghe's efforts to pinpoint and travel to the 'nice' Shen Qingqiu's soul don't go according to plan, which is a slightly nicer way of saying that they fail miserably and only end up spitting him out in front of some unimpressive, irritating flower spirit that he'd apparently married a decade ago and promptly forgotten about. Oops.
Even worse, Luo Binghe is struck by a curse that forces him to share a telepathic bond with this little spirit until they learn how to get along. Double oops.
...Actually, doesn't this 'Shen Yuan' seem a bit familiar...?

That was how Shen Yuan knew this was all bullshit, because no sane person would willingly think about Shang Qinghua’s constantly-bitten-up, likely-chapped lips! And yet, ever since that night, Shen Yuan kept finding himself fixated on them and wondering what they might feel like against his own.
Bullshit!!
After Shang Qinghua shows him a gay hypnosis video one night while high, Shen Yuan is plagued with gay thoughts. He can’t believe that stupid video worked, and he can’t believe Shang Qinghua showed it to him!
Luckily, Shen Yuan gets some advice on how to undo the effects of the hypnosis, and he knows exactly who to turn to for help. After all, Shang Qinghua should take responsibility, shouldn’t he?
