Gaster didn’t want to die. He also doesn’t want more death to fall upon his people. He couldn't let the other die when he knew an attack was coming. Gaster felt tears well in his eye sockets. He's not strong enough…he's gonna die in this forest. All these people are going to die in this forest!
Gaster gripped his arms tightly to try to control himself. He pushed down his tears. If he cries, it won’t help anyone; all those sick and injured monsters will die. It will be because of him.
