Tanaka and Noya had crossed a line. It had involved copious amounts of Red Bull, water balloons, food dye, one of Ennoshita’s film plots, and bad ideas. Daichi, Asahi, and Yachi had been the unfortunate victims. He didn’t want to think about it. It was a miracle Yachi hadn’t run home, crying, and quit the club. (Daichi had felt like it. Asahi tearfully threatened Noya with it.)
“I need revenge,” Daichi announced on the way home from practice.

That’s another thing that makes Katsuki itchy. He’s always been a violent dude, but lately when he looks at Kirishima he’s filled with both this deep anger and this absurd need to protect, as if he doesn’t believe Kirishima can handle himself in a fight. It’s ridiculous. No—it’s outright offensive, is what it is, and Katsuki wants to purge it from his system, bleed and sweat and swear it out until there’s nothing left of this angry softness. He doesn’t like the feeling at all.
He also doesn’t like waking up in the morning and checking his social media feed only to see a side of Kirishima he’s not used to seeing. Or not not-used-to, but…

The website was so garish that he could barely keep up with everything he saw. Two pictures took up most of the page, with the beginnings of an article tucked beneath them, but the headline really stole Tadashi’s attention:
Ninja Shouyou Spotted at Gay Club; Slumming with D2’s Tsukishima Kei?
Tadashi blinked rapidly until disbelief gave way to a twitch in his cheek. An unbidden snort escaped and suddenly he was giggling uncontrollably. Tsukishima was going to be pissed.
When Tsukishima denies the rumors a little too successfully, the media pivots and Yamaguchi finds himself sharing the spotlight too. Tsukishima's apathy toward the new rumors leaves Yamaguchi with a new perspective on their friendship, and a confusing flutter in his chest.
