Summary
Klaus, Sunny, and Violet Baudelaire were very intelligent children who often found themselves at the centre of unfortunate events - most being at the hands of a rather cruel man by the name of Count Olaf.
After passing from guardian to guardian, the three orphans find themselves shipped to live with Bruce Wayne, a distant cousin of their mother’s, far off in the city of Gotham. Worried for lost friends and desperate for their own safety, the Baudelaires find themselves at the centre of a tale regarding secret identities, even more secret organisations, and the prospect of belonging. The same tale is one that hopes to answer three key questions;
Who is the Batman?
What is VFD?

Summary
If you are interested in stories with happy endings, you would be better off reading some other book. In this book, not only is there no happy ending, there is no happy beginning and very few happy things in the middle. This is because not very many happy things happened in the lives of the three Baudelaire youngsters. Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire were intelligent children, and they were charming, and resourceful, and had pleasant facial features, but they were extremely unlucky, and most everything that happened to them was rife with misfortune, misery, and despair. I’m sorry to tell you this, but that is how the story goes.
In this story, we will be focusing on the eldest Baudelaire, Violet. For, unbeknownst to her siblings, many things happened to her that didn’t happen to them.
Many things, such as being able to control fire.

Until one day, though Ivan would never admit it to himself, the pain becomes too much to bear, and he wonders if truly, being on the sidelines unable to help Till, is something he can handle in one piece.

What the hell had just happened?
Megumi took a step forward and began lowering his tightned fists only to be stopped has he felt something click around his wrist.
"What-" Megumi started, whipping his head around to look. A metal handcuff was clipped into his thin wrist and Megumi felt his dark eyes widen.
A man stood beside him, his hair was blonde and tied into a scruffy ponytail. One of his hands was locked into the handcuff with Megumis' and the other held a pale green notebook with "Ideals" scrawled accross the cover. He was dressed formally and he had bright emerald eyes that sat behind a basic pair of glasses.
Megumi looked at him, his mouth moved to speak but no words came out.
"I'll have to stop you to stop right here, kid" the man said with a serious yet somewhat gentle voice "I'm going to need to ask you some questions."
