Nothing could have prepared him for the betrayal that would follow as he is left alone and abandoned without his powers. The only way his day could get any worse is if his arch enemy found him in such a weakened state and saw it as the perfect opportunity to get his revenge.
But Homelander is willing to do almost anything to survive.
