Yes 1000% yes Ilya needed to realize he’s bffs with Shane’s abuser and I’m so happy Shane is talking about this. It’s heartbreaking that he’s normalized the racism so much but it’s reality. Always felt like the Boxing Day fight skewed too much in Ilya’s favor bc he didn’t know the true extent of how bad it could be if they were outed.
