    Summary

Standing in the doorway with snowflakes clinging to his hair and dusted across his shoulders, Sirius held in his gloved hands a bag of what appeared to be two large soup containers. Remus’s breath caught in his throat as Sirius grinned at him. A different kind of hunger than before rushed through his body, of running his fingers through Sirius’s hair to brush away the snow, of cupping his hands around Sirius’s cold cheeks to warm them.

“Soup?” Sirius passed Remus the bag as he stomped his boots, leaving a dusting of snow on the rug.

“Only if it’s lentil.” Remus tried to bury his desire, and he guided Sirius to the break room.

“Of course,” Sirius said and smiled wide. “What else?”

When James organises an impromptu karaoke night on Christmas Eve, Remus is already teetering on the edge, struggling to stay in control. He’s spent years perfecting his balancing act, being Sirius’s best mate and flatmate but never crossing the line into something more. Then one ridiculously sexy performance pushes him a little too close to Sirius, and staying in control becomes the last thing on his mind.

    Summary

3000 words. That was all. Sirius just had to get this essay down to 3000 words.

3120 words, said his psychology essay’s word count, rudely.

Fuck you, he said back to the word count.

You’re so sleep-deprived, you’re hallucinating an argument with Microsoft Word, the word count replied wittily. Also, you want to shag men.

Bollocks. The word count was right.

After realising that he’s probably at least a little bit gay, Sirius Black falls into a prolonged spell of bad luck.

This is definitely because of some big fuckoff cosmic reason completely unrelated to him, and not just because he’s a bit of a twat.

    Summary

Sirius Black has never met a silence he didn’t want to fill with a bad joke, a cigarette, or a questionable hookup.
Remus Lupin, on the other hand, studies silences like they’re something sacred—catalogues them, respects them, knows when to leave them alone.

Sirius is grieving. Or maybe just aggressively not-grieving. He’s tired, a little unhinged, probably smells like lavender-scented mold, and trying (sort of) to tick off a self-improvement list that mostly reads like someone shouted “healing” into a Pinterest board.
Then there’s Remus: tall, annoyingly clever, half-thrifted academic boy who smells like lemons and has zero patience for Sirius' rich-boy nihilism.
This is a story about grief, group counseling, guilt, weird eye contact, sweaty concerts, mildew apartments, and two idiots who share a bit too much trauma. It’s about how sometimes the quiet people see you clearer than anyone else. And how maybe, just maybe, that turns out to be terrifyingly right.

    THE STORY IS NOW COMPLETE.

    Summary

London is melting. The duvet has been banished, the fan is losing a brave but hopeless battle, and Sirius Black is attempting to read a fantasy novel about a lovesick fae prince.

Unfortunately, Remus Lupin is wearing shorts.

Between iced tea, freckles, glasses slipping down his nose, and the simple joy of seeing Remus comfortable enough to show his scars at home, Sirius finds himself far more invested in his boyfriend's legs than the book in his hands.

    or;

Remus Lupin is wandering around the flat in shorts.

The freckles have unionised. Sirius never stood a chance.

The prince may be searching for true love, but Sirius already found his. He's currently barefoot in the kitchen and making it impossible to turn the page.
