Jinx was cackling again. Her body trembled with mirth, almost rubbing herself against Caitlyn.
“And then,” Jinx continued once the laughter had passed. “Once they give up hope. Then, I’ll send you back—a present from Jinx to her dear old sister.”
Jinx bared her teeth. “I won’t even break you too much before I give you back. Probably. Vi needs to be able to recognize you, after all, Cupcake.”
