It isn’t until Lucifer speaks again that he can identify the corner he feels backed into. “Sooo, I’ve been thinking, Alastor-” A harsh screech cuts him off as Alastor whips his head around, feeling his antlers grow and ears pin back.
“What” he rasps out, holding onto his smile like his afterlife depends on it. “Don't do that.”

Lucifer accidently reminds Alastor of Vox in the process of offering to heal his chest wound and Alastor has an aroace panic over it.

Alternative universe where after Lilith betrayed and left Lucifer, leaving him to drown in paperwork and pin his daughter against him he decided to make a deal with Alastor to help him with managing hell.
Lucifer did his best to fix his relationship with Charlie but after multiple calls to explain himself he decided that unless Charlie will come to him he will not pull her into his affairs. including his new relationship with Alastor that after years of dating turned into marriage.
The couple planned to leave her out of it but as he and Alastor listened to the disaster of an interview, him and his spouse decided that its about time to try to help Charlie, Open her eyes and hopefully mend their relationship in the process. But this time they might have to use more of an underhanded technique. Thankfully that's Alastors specialty.

Alastor fiddled with his coffee mug, fingers shaking. “... knowing what
h̴̡̪̒̈́ẽ̵͠ did, do you still want me?”When Lucifer realised he had fallen in love with Alastor, he had no plans of confessing his feelings. The Radio Demon had been through enough; he did not need more complications in his afterlife. If Alastor found out, it could end their friendship.
Still, perhaps some good can come of it, even when it’s difficult.
