Summary
Two years into her marriage, Elizabeth Darcy wakes from a carriage accident remembering nothing past the autumn Mr. Bingley first came to Netherfield. She does not know Pemberley. She does not know her husband, or the sister he has, or the goddaughter who reaches for her without hesitation. She does not even fully know her own father, having lost the harder, clearer-eyed love she'd grown into for him alongside everything else.
Fitzwilliam Darcy must love a woman who looks at him exactly as she once did before she knew him at all, and court her a second time without the comfort of memory to lean on. As fragments of the lost two years return out of order, some tender, some cruel, and as George Wickham circles a wife who no longer remembers why she ought to distrust him, Elizabeth must decide, with no memory to guide her, whether she trusts the man she's told she married. A story about whether love survives the loss of the very history that built it.
