Because no matter what Suguru has done, he promised Satoru forever and breaking that promise is the worst crime this bastard could have ever committed. He opens his mouth to start his barrage of questions. Suguru turns around. Satoru’s voice dies in his throat, the moment he lays eyes on Suguru’s face. He looks exactly the same. Just how he did, before he left for that mission. Satoru stares at him with wide eyes. Those eyes. They tell him that the person standing before him is, indeed, Getou Suguru.
The six eyes see Getou Suguru.

That Wufei hesitates before telling him isn't a good sign, but before Heero has to ask him again, he says, "Thirty-five dead. Another twenty are seriously wounded. At least seven are not expected to make it through the night."
Heero had sent a hundred soldiers after the Eltoo menace that is known only as Shinigami, and this was the result. "How large was his force?" he demands, clenching his hands.
Wufei's posture somehow becomes even more correct. "Reports say it was just him."
"Gather my generals," Heero tells him. "If I have to send a thousand to capture him, I will. And I do mean capture, Wufei. I want him alive."
Bowing, Wufei says, "Of course, Your Majesty."
Heero is going to make that barbarian regret ever raising a hand against Heero's troops.
When the captured Shinigami is revealed to be an omega, all of Heero's plans change.

He knows those words, the first he can remember, his earliest memory. It feels like he hasn’t breathed in minutes. When he comes back to the moment, he finds that perhaps he hasn’t. Harry gasps for air like a fish does for water, and doesn’t find it. His back has slid down the wall somehow and his hands grip his head, hair clenched in fists.
Then he realizes he’s actually panting, a ringing in his ears, blocking out whatever it is people are saying to him. Hermione crouches in front of him where he can’t possibly miss her, palms settling gently on his knees.
“Harry,” she’s saying. “Harry, it’s going to be alright.”
