Genji joins the Shambali when he's at the end of his rope, where he has to come to terms about the state of his existence. Whether he likes it or not, someone's keen on helping him.
Little by little he tries to make peace with his past, his body, everything about himself, and to rethink all that he knows about omnics. As he goes on his journey, he no longer finds himself alone.
He finds himself understanding life and love and the world like he hasn't before.

Summary
