Grace has trouble sleeping, but thankfully Rocky is there, willing to help.
Set between Chapter 2 and 3 of one of my other works, He Wears the Rose of Youth Upon Him.
"Thanks for tucking me in. I feel as snug as a bug in a rug.”
Huh? None of that made any sense. “Is being bug good or bad?!” I stomp twice in question.
Grace laughs. “Sorry sorry. Right now, it’s good. It’s just a bit strange. Tucking someone in is a bit of a parental action for humans, and normally it’s only done for little kids. I don’t mind. If I’m honest, it’s pretty nice. It feels like you're taking care of me.”
Good Good Good. It means less confusion when my actions mean the same thing for Eridians as it does for Humans. “Correct! Rocky always take care of Grace. Always always always.”

How can someone without any eyes at all still give such strong puppy dog eyes? I just want to stop hurting my best friend. “Sure Rock.”
“Rocky Grace try treatment. If treatment not work, then.” Rocky shudders one more time. “Then Grace do dangerous sleep.”

Grace has mentioned that he is a scientist as well as a teacher to human children. On Erid, only our Elders would step down from their purpose to impart their knowledge on the next generation. Grace must be very old indeed to become a teacher, and to be chosen for this mission.

Shen Qingqiu hums, tucking his hair behind his ear as he looks over the document in front of him, the soft afternoon light streaming into the room leaving it's inhabitants in a sleepy haze.
Although the haze could just be because of the position he was in, he thinks as he slyly smiles to himself, his face glowing with a gentle flush.
Luo Binghe quietly whines, his arms around Shen Qingqiu’s waist tightening as he curls his fingers on the peak lord’s robes, desperately trying not to squirm, when it is clearly so difficult, his tears and drool dampening the fabric where he presses his face into Shen Qingqiu’s shoulder.
