    “Was it enough?” asks Jon.

Sansa knows the answer before ever the Children speak. How can it ever be enough? Life for a life is unequal, always. One life can never be matched by another. Hundreds? Thousands? It is like asking which is more devastating: the tides, or the floods. Each, in its own way.

    “No,” says the first child.

    Summary

Catelyn Tully Stark is not a stupid woman.
Eddard Stark returned from Dorne with two things. His sister’s bones. And a babe.
A distinctly Stark looking babe. A babe that looks more a Stark than her own.
    Lyanna’s bones. And a child.

“Call her baby,” Jon says, solemnly. He looks at Catelyn, who is biting her tongue, trying not to laugh. “Because she’s a baby.”

“What about when she’s no longer a baby?” Cat asks.

Jon’s brow furrows, a perfect imitation of his father.

“He is a Stark,” Cat concedes.

“He is your son,” Ned says, taking her in his arms. “You are the strongest person I have ever known. He could not possibly help but be strong.”

“It’s a plant. Gege has so few of them, so it would look nice in the gardens, wouldn’t it?”

Shi Qingxuan doubts that Xie Lian, who is head employee in the royal gardens, is in need of another plant. But she is also a self-respecting necromancer and resurrecting yourself costs a surprising amount of money, so she doesn’t say that out loud.

    Summary

It's been a century since the Doctor regenerated. Roughly one hundred years since he last saw Rose Tyler.
He assumed the past would stay the past and he could move into the future with nothing but scars to carry. However, an innocent question from Amy, a few wayward dreams, and the weight of loss throws his world into a Rose-colored tailspin.

Mired in memories and tangled in timelines, the Doctor has to hold on and hope for the best.

“Modern civilization was born from farming.”

“I thought it was religion,” Rory said, confused.

    “Potato, pontifical; what’s the difference?”

"In case you've forgotten, you got to keep the TARDIS!"

And for the first time since this encounter began, the Doctor totally lost his cool. His eyes flashed hot, furious fire, and he stalked forward into John's face until their noses were only inches apart.

"Yes, I did, but you'll forgive me if I don't apologize, since you got to keep Rose!"
