It was difficult to wake up and equally difficult to fall back asleep. He hovered at the edge of consciousness for who knew how many hours, body torn apart by the phantom pain of the burn and the phantom stress of coming back to life. When he finally felt alert enough to climb out of bed and check the terminal, he didn’t bring Dollman with him. Connecting the continent could wait; saving the world could wait.
There was an order for flowers.
Sam didn’t think he’d ever seen that before. Fake flowers were rare enough in this aromantic and asexual world, but real ones? Sam didn’t even know where someone would get that from, let alone transport it to an obscure location up the snowy mountains.
The order was short. Delicate, it read somewhere. He could’ve figured that out himself, flowers being delicate. The recipient also didn’t put down a name.

The praise goes to his head, suffusing him with endorphins. “Thank you, Dad.” And he promptly wants to crawl out of his skin and slither down the drain with the after birth slop.

Summary
As punishment for some minor mishap, Merlin is sentenced to clean out the old vaults beneath Camelot, where Uther stashed magical objects that were too difficult to destroy.
There, Merlin finds an odd, rune-covered cylinder that seems to tug on his magic. He lets Gwaine take it, thinking it’s harmless.
It is not harmless.
The object is, in fact, a magical fleshlight that’s bound to Merlin’s magic, meaning anything done to it, he feels. Intimately.
Now the knights are unknowingly taking turns with the enchanted relic, Merlin’s having both a great and terrible time, and better yet, Arthur has found out and seems…interested.
Now Merlin needs to get the toy back and destroy it before he dies of embarrassment or exhaustion. Only…Arthur doesn’t seem to support that goal.

Leon smiled in agreement but, as ever, stepped in as the voice of reason. “You’d be tetchy too, if you wanted to be touched but couldn’t have it.”
Prince Arthur must keep his virtue until his wedding night, though it leaves him frustrated and unsatisfied. Merlin, well-versed in the art of loopholes, offers him help.
