All he ever wanted is the new Dragon Lord to bring chaos in Ninjago, and what better way than have a certain spellcaster to embedded a cursed crystal from the Staff of Element on the person chest.Kai is loyal to a fault, but it became his downfall when he hears humming and sweeter whispering of his favorite tune from childhood. His mind is getting skewed up and doesn't know what's right or what's the right memories to have compare to fakes.

He winced as another cramp coiled low in his abdomen, sharper this time, deeper. The pains started sporadic days ago, with waves of pressure he’d stubbornly dismissed as false labor.
Only there was nothing false about this.
