“Spud?”
“The cat, Potter.”
“Yeah but Spud? What kinda name is that?”
“It’s short for Stupid.”
“Wouldn’t it be Stup then?”
“What the hell is a Stup? At least Spud sounds nice.”
“You named your cat after a potato.”
“No, I named the cat Stupid because he has stupid black hair and stupid green eyes like - whatever, shut up, let me focus.”
Draco finds a cat that becomes a catalyst for the start of his and Harry's friendship. Harry finds that he likes spending time with Malfoy more than he expected to. Chess games, exchanged letters, long talks near the Great Lake, and an highly erotic Quidditch game later, Harry and Draco realize a few things that explain why their relationship before had always been so...explosive. Maybe they can see how their chemistry would work on the other side, without all the obstacles between them this time.

With said attending. Santos is trying her best to understand the absurd relationship between her boss and her roommate. Everyone else in The Pitt is betting on it.
