Zoey slides her hands between their bodies, scrambling to undo the first one.
"We need to have a word with your stylist about these decisions they're making," Zoey huffs as the metal buckle opens up. She tugs on the leather until it slips loose and then tosses it to the side.
"I thought you liked the outfit?" Rumi manages a laugh despite the clear tension in her voice, swallowing as Zoey presses her hands against the plane of her stomach.
Zoey gives her a look. "Well they clearly weren't thinking of me when they put you in it!"
OR: Zoey & Rumi are on separate tours, finally perform in the same city after two weeks, stumble into their hotel room and fuck about it

A luminescent blade flew past Rumi's face, just close enough to nick her cheek before burying itself into the tree ahead. A gasp ripped itself from her throat. She threw herself to the ground, just as another blade soared over her head.
The hard dirt scraped layers from her knees and palms, but that was all background noise to the figure dropping lithely from an overhead branch. Rumi’s eyes fell on her like one succumbing to a fever: the giddy stretch of her smile, the thin fingers dancing in a cheerful wave, the messy hair gathered into two space buns.
“Zoey."
