Summary
When the Boy-Who-Lived stood in the middle of the clearing, waiting for death with terrified yet resigned eyes, the Dark Lord Voldemort thought that he had finally won. That he could now shape the world the way he was always meant to do, with no Dumbledore, no prophecy, no boy with green eyes stubbornly standing in his way. He raised his wand and confidently cast the Killing Curse and, once again, his life fell apart.
OR
When Harry chooses to come back to life, he takes with him the entirety of Voldemort's soul. In doing so, Voldemort's mind and body reset to the time right before he made his first horcrux; he is seventeen again, and does not seem to remember the horrors he has committed. With it out in the open between them that Tom Riddle is actually Lord Voldemort, reborn from a stray piece of soul which incubated within Harry for nearly ten years, nourished by his love, he and Harry prepare to return to Hogwarts for their third year. However, it seems that nothing but challenges await them in their future; with Horcruxes to collect, a frightfully clever headmaster to keep his secrets away from, and now, supposedly, Voldemort's right-hand-man (who Tom doesn't remember at all) out for Harry's blood. And that's not even counting the older version of himself, floating out there somewhere as a wraith. Luckily, Tom has Harry and Harry has Tom, and together they can surely keep each other safe.

Summary
One would think traveling 52 years into the past would allow Harry some much desired anonymity, but unfortunately the malfunctioning Triwizard Cup spat Harry out on the quidditch pitch in the middle of a game. There's no lying about his provenance while a shiny plaque on the base of the Cup announces to everyone he is 'Harry Potter, Hogwarts Champion, 1994.'
Swept up by the ministry and sworn to secrecy by the Unspeakables, Harry is left to navigate the past on his own. Good thing his great-grandparents are willing to take him in - even if they're a little more into blood purity than Harry had expected - and Hogwarts is willing to welcome him back - even if he's a novelty to everyone as the time traveling Champion.
At least Harry will have the familiarity of Gryffindor Tower to ease his homesickness. Or he would, if the sorting hat hadn't put him in Slytherin, where he's forced to share a dorm with none other than Tom Riddle.
