The Radio Demon had claimed many souls as his own. Though, out of all the poor saps that fell victim under his control, nothing could have ever prepared him for her.
She was beautiful and unmistakably held the physical traits of a succubi. Though it was clear that she was struggling, her heart was simply too soft for the roughness of Hell’s vicious games. Alastor saw it.
He had watched her struggle on the streets for the next few weeks, it was clear she wasn’t like the rest of Hell’s residents. Even as she served tables at some restaurant that hardly appreciated her work efforts, she tried to keep her smile bright, attempted to cheer up even the most pitiful souls sitting at tables. It was clear she was one of a kind.
Finally, Alastor made a decision and approached her during break, introducing himself as the Radio Demon. Though she seemed to have already been aware.
“I came to offer you a deal, sweet thing. Your soul and devotion for my protection.”

Alastor and Charlie Magne had been dating for awhile now, in least since she had broken up with Vaggi. Knowing that Alastor was on the Ace spectrum, she had been going very slow for him in their relationship. Taking things one step at a time for his comfort. Which, Alastor had greatly appreciated, even if the stubborn deer never verbally spoke it.
To be honest, he hardly even understood himself. The last relationship he had was with Vox, and THAT ended tragically.
Now a years had passed since then, and their love story starts 4 years after Vox challenged Heaven (after season two but pilot version). Alastor and Charlie had officially been intimately involved for about 5 months now. He seemed to be more comfortable with her (almost in all aspects of their relationship) so she started to wonder if, perhaps, he would be interested in exploring more?
So far it had been strictly missionary and her riding him, clothes mostly on.
So when Charlie suddenly hands Alastor 50 shades of grey and asks him to read it..

For Charlie Mother’s Day is just a miserable reminder that Lilith might never come home. After decorating the lobby fails to cheer her up, she retreats to her sanctuary of sad self-made memorabilia, only for Alastor to accidentally interrupt her isolation. He entertains the topic of his own upbringing on the condition that they grab some food when he is finished talking, but once given the opportunity, Alastor seems to never truly be finished talking.
A take on an agency-oriented version of Alastor’s Mother and Alastor clearly being her son.
BONUS/SECOND CHAPTER: a series of childhood snapshots from ages 5 to 14, putting Alastor’s conversation with Charlie into perspective and tracing what shaped him into what he became, whether he remembers it or not.

Vaggie pointed her spear. "Stop right there!" Alastor froze in his tracks, going rigid. But Vaggie and her spear just kept advancing on him. "I know your game, and I'm not going to—"
"No!"
A tiny fist flew across her face. The unexpected force of it made her curse and stumble back a few steps, hand pressed against her jaw.
"Vaggie, don't!" He cried, quickly positioning himself between Vaggie and Alastor with his arms spread out. "Don't! Leave my dad the fuck alone!"

The Radio Demon appears on Charlie's doorstep 7 years after he abandoned her with a child to raise all on her own.
While their child is more than ready to forgive his father, Charlie isn't so eager to make nice with the man who broke his promise to her. She orders Alastor to get out of her hotel and leave her alone, but when he flippantly mentions how the place appears to be failing and will remain that way without his assistance, Charlie begrudgingly lets him stay.
She's just using him to save the hotel, she insists to herself. It's only until she gets her first guest. Then Alastor is out of here, and this time she won't be sitting by the window and waiting for him to come back.
