Summary
Steve Harrington was dealing with being bitten by a demodog.
But this, he couldn’t wrap his damn head around.
He’d caught himself…staring…several times. At a long, lithe line of a body in dark clothes and leather, with tattoos scattered on pale skin. A bandana tucked in his back pocket just enough that it swung without falling—that when it swung, Steve noticed. Or when long fingers bedecked in silver rings twirled strands among a mess of wild, dark curls.
Steve knew when he walked in the room. His scent, this mix of mossy forest and rain and smoke, traveled across the room. Steve’s chest hurt—ached enough he had to press a hand against his sternum. Steve hardly knew this guy. The one invading his senses, burrowing in under muscle and bone.
Steve knew the twisting in his stomach, the catching in his breath, in his fucking heart. Recognized it with a dreading familiarity.
He…wanted.

He’s cursed into the form of a beast by day and given 300 years to prove to the fae enchantress that such a thing as true love exists. If he can’t prove it, he’ll be whisked back to her realm and be forced to marry her. He can try to find love with whomever he wants, but they have to fall in love with him without seeing his human face for a year and a day. He spends hundreds of years searching, but so far, no one seems worth the risk.
Bucky Barnes is a grumpy war vet whose sister is dying. Desperate, he goes in search of a flower that can save her, but the cost is higher than he anticipated: His sister’s life in exchange for his. When he returns to keep his side of the bargain, nothing in the mansion is what it seems.

It had seemed the best thing to do, when faced with a recently freed child who cries out for his mother in his sleep. Naboo is so close to Tatooine. It's barely out of their way at all. Two days added to their trip back to Coruscant, maximum. If they leave the Nabooian celebration early the Jedi Council won't even notice.
Of course, with Obi-Wan's luck, everything takes a turn for the worse. Anakin's dreams about his mother prove prophetic. Sith burn half of Mos Espa and their ship with it; chase them into the desert, into increasingly dire straits.
He starts dreaming of his soulmate again, too, as though he needs the extra complication.

The one night stand Jim Kirk has with the Vulcan passing through Riverside is a welcome break from the monotony. It's good, very good, but so fucking weird Jim's sure he's never gonna forget it. He's not quite expecting to run into Spock again in San Francisco. A second one night stand turns into a weekend, turns into a lot of weekends, turns into Bones joking that he's living half his week at Spock's apartment.
But! But, and this is very important: they're not dating.
